Building Rental

Cascade Meadow has space available for meetings, presentations, workshops, and exhibitions consistent with our mission to be a regional resource for environmental education and to support a conversation about sustainability. We are not available for receptions, banquets, or fundraisers.

General Facility Details:

  • All rooms are located on Cascade Meadow’s lower level, which is fully accessible
  • Wireless Internet is available throughout the building
  • The parking lot holds 45 vehicles, we encourage carpooling for large events
  • All rentals include access to the exhibit galleries on the upper level

Conference Room
Furnished with tables and office chairs in a square configuration, the Conference Room at Cascade Meadow is our best space for small meetings and gatherings.  A portable projector and speakers are available upon request.
Room Size: 20’ x 17’; 340 sq. ft. 
Maximum Seating Capacity: 12

Conference Room Equipment:

  • Counter with sink
  • 2’x3’ whiteboard

Classroom
The Classroom is a great space for functions with an outdoor or craft component due to its easy-to-clean flooring.  The Classroom accommodates groups with up to 60 participants and features large windows that overlook the wetlands and prairies and let in ample natural light.  A portable projector and speakers are available upon request.

Room Size: 38’ x 29’; 1,102 sq. ft.

Maximum Seating Capacities:

  • Theatre Seating: 60 chairs
  • Seminar Seating: 60
  • U-Shaped: 26, 36 with second smaller U inserted in the middle
  • Open Square: 36
  • Small Group:  64 (8 tables of 8)

Classroom Equipment:

  • 2 counter stations with sinks
  • 4’ x 6’ whiteboard
  • Light diffusing window shades
  • In-floor outlets  

Meeting Room
The Meeting Room is the largest room at Cascade Meadow and can accommodate a variety of meetings, presentations, seminars, and workshops.  The Meeting Room holds up to 90 people and features large windows that overlook the wetlands and prairies and let in ample natural light. 

Room Size: 45.5’ x 29’; 1,320 sq. ft.

Maximum Seating Capacities:

  • Theatre Seating: 90 chairs
  • Seminar Seating: 60
  • U-Shaped: 30; 44 with second smaller U insert in the middle
  • Square: 44
  • Small Groups:  64 (8 tables of 8)

Meeting Room Equipment:

  • Digital projector
  • Screen
  • DVD player
  • Microphones: 1 lapel, 1 hand-held
  • Sound system
  • 4’ x 6’ whiteboard

Center Hall
The center hall provides over 1,900 square feet of additional space for displays, exhibitors, information booths, etc.

Catering Policy:

Approved Caterers:
Catering arrangements for meals and breaks at Cascade Meadow must be made through one of our approved caterers. Please contact your preferred caterer directly.  

If you will only be serving baked goods or light refreshments, you do not need to work with a caterer.  However, we do not allow homemade food to be served at Cascade Meadow; any refreshments must come from a commercial source, such as a bakery or a grocery store. You may also bring in coffee and beverages on your own if you are not working with a caterer. 

Coffee Options:
If you would like to bring coffee to your event, the following cafés are near Cascade Meadow and have carryout options for groups.   You are welcome to use other vendors; we offer these suggestions merely for convenience.  Please contact your preferred café directly to make arrangements.
